Clark combines Nordic Mythology with Native American Mythology to weave a tale of terror about the snow octopedal creature disguised as the beautiful Bella.
Dedwadont (which can easily be read as a stand a lone story) almost feels like a prequel rather than a sequel to Bella’s Boys. In Bella’s Boys you learn about Sandy (or Bella) and how she uses sex and music to lure men and women in before she devours them. In Dedwadont, you get the back story of how she comes to be a fixture in a bar in Redfield, New York.
The reader will follow two Native American hunters and two meth dealers on snowmobiles as they encounter Bella and her zombie-like forest animals. And throughout their tale of bitter cold and snow, you will learn about a Nordic adulter from 800 AD and the story that banishes this snow creature to North America.
This was a great read and I’m looking forward to its release.
